Venezuelan phone – the cheapest mobile phone in the world

In Venezuela, in May will begin the sales of the phone, which is positioned as the cheapest in the world. Its price – 21.57 USD. It will have a radio, MP3 player and a camera. 

It is called “El Vergatario”. President Hugo Chávez of Venezuela announced that it is a product of the Venezuelan-Chinese company Vetelca. Mobile will be on the markets of Latin America and the Caribbean. Vetelca plans to issue 4 million shares of El Vergatario year together with another Chinese company, Huawei, writes Australian news. 

Of course, the world produces, and other low-cost models designed for those who can not afford iPhone and Nokia. For example, There is a device in India which is called “people’s phone”, and is sold for about the same price as the El Vergatario.
